Ill Wind Update on the Honda Wind Turbine Application Sept 2010
August 24, 2010 1 Comment
There is still time to write to the Planning Dept, below is an extract of a letter to residents from Rhian Morris, the Principal Planning Officer handling the application:
As you know we have received the above planning application and a number of you have expressed concerns regarding the length of time which you have been given to respond to the planning application.
I can inform you that I am not in a position to extend the statutory consultation period, however any comments we receive before a decision is reached will be taken into account. Specifically, following the end of the 21 days consultation period, I will be on annual leave until the first week of September, so you’ll have the opportunity to make any comments until my return. This will give you extra time, which many of you have requested, to look at the extensive information which has been submitted.
If you have any comments/objections you wish to make about the application please write to:

Laurie and I feel very sorry that the village will be lumbered with these wind turbines.
It doesn’t give much hope either that Rhiann Morris is the planning officer dealing with the case!
