Now we are one!

It is now just over a year since I took on the running of the South Marston website, and so I thought that it would be a good opportunity to share some statistics about the village website: http://southmarston.org.uk

The website currently has:

221 Posts (It has actually had more, but some posts get removed once they get out of date)

84 Comments (not counting the 624 spam comments that had to be filtered out)

20 Email Update Subscribers

Over 2000 page views /month, which is over double the amount of our first month:

The sites busiest day was September 15 2010, when the site was viewed 208 times.

The most popular post so far is: ‘Wind Turbines Updates 29th July 2010‘, which has been viewed 561 times in the two months since it was published. It also has the most comments from visitors, 23!

So I would like your feeback to let me know how to make the site even more useful for the residents of South Marston? Leave your comments below and let me know what you think.

Regards

Donald Jones

PS: If you have any old photos of the village, or particularly scenic views of the village, that you do not mind being posted on the website, then I would like to make some photo galleries for the website. Email them to: donald.jones@southmarston.org.uk

  1. I really appreciate all your hard work on the website Donald – I subscribe to the RSS feed so whenever there are new things on the site I get a prompt. I can keep up-to-date with what’s happening in the village, participate in discussions and stay connected. Fantastic!
