The Christmas Gift
At Christmas we gave everyone in the village an opportunity to give a gift to the church towards the guttering fund. I would like to thank you for your generosity the appeal raised £576.80 some of which was ‘gift aided’ and will eventually yield more from the taxman. Vicky Fleming

At the side of the page in Tower and Tap you will see how well we are doing in our efforts to protect the village church and heritage. We have a long way to go and we need your support. Last month I asked for help with fundraising ideas and someone to trawl the grant bodies that may help us. Unfortunately none has been forthcoming—perhaps now the Christmas season is over you would reconsider my appeal.
