The Celebration Fellowship Supper
We had a great supper with a choice of hot meals and followed by sumptuous deserts and all washed down with a glass of wine. We watched a Powerpoint presentation celebrating last year—a lot of banter about the pictures ensued! A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the food, setting up and clearing up – and to those who supported the evening.
At the March Meeting Point we held a raffle in aid of the guttering and with extra donations raised £73.50. Thank you so much for supporting this. We are thinking about putting together a village cookbook—do you have a recipe and maybe a local story to go into this? If so please send it to Vicky Fleming at the Vicarage or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Raising the money we need is going to be a long haul but we don’t want future generations to have to deal with the larger problems damp and water damage bring. The church building is part of our heritage and is used by many people other than those who worship on a Sunday. Will you help us?
