Place: St Julians Community Woodland (accessible via St Julians Close), South Marston
The St Julians Community woodland will be formally opened on this day. The woodland has been created by a partnership between Hills, and the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. It includes the unveiling of several items including:
- A mural created by Annette Andrews, in collaboration with pupils from South Marston School
- Benches made with wood from Hagbourne Copse
- Plinths with Brass Rubbings
- A bench and table created by local blacksmith, John Beavis.
As a follow up event on Saturday 1st October 10.00- 11.00, a guided walk for villagers will be held to educate more about WWT plans for the site.
