Detailed below are some of the activities in which the Parish Council participated during the month.
- Solar farm at Sevor Farm, Nightingale Lane, South Marston – Road Works
The road works have now started to lay the cabling for the new solar farm. Updates will be posted on the South Marston website. RCD Contractors Limited direct contact for queries or concerns is: Alan Worrall (07815 144069)
- Car Park & Cage Area
Agreeing the repairs required to the car par and cage area next to South Marston CofE Primary School with the South Marston Recreation Association and School Governors
- 20mph zone for the village
- Renewable energy project for the village
- Induction Pack (for new Parish Councillors) & Welcome Pack (for new residents)
Next Meeting – 19th November 2013
Members of the public are welcome to a&end Parish Council meetings which are held at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. There is an “Open 10 Minutes” sec,on at the start of the meeting where you are invited to ask questions or discuss an agenda item. It would be helpful if you could inform the Chairman at the start of the mee,ng of any items that you wish to raise or discuss. All agendas are published on the village website and on the village notice boards, prior to the meetings.
