Great News for your local

We are pleased to announce that The Carrier’s Arms have now become a freehold pub.  It means we are not tied to a brewery.  The “track record” of this pub over the last ten years or more, has proved to be an uphill struggle to make it pay, and so we feel this is a great achievement for the village and we can now in part reverse the situation by offering a more affordable local amenity.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers who have supported us so far and we offer a warm welcome to all old and new customers with our new venture as a freehold.

With Christmas creeping up and live entertainment both on Friday 6th December and Saturday 14th December, we have decided we might as well make it a double celebration on New Years Eve so why not come along and join us in our New Years Eve’s Party to celebrate!

Future Events

We have Live Music on Friday 6th December (Locarno Beat 60’s Live Band) and Saturday 14th December (HOT FLEX)  and why not come along and join in the Christmas festivities with us.   We’re taking bookings for the festive season.

Festive Celebrations [Bookings only]:

3 courses – £15.95 per person

2 courses – £12.95 per person

  1. I would like to be the first to congratulate Didier & Amanda on their acquisition . Having seen about 5 or 6 tenants come and go whilst at the Carpenters I always said the Carriers could not make it as a tied but could as a Freehold. Well Done, and good luck for the future.
