Friendly Club – Investigating my Local History, with a metal detector

Village Hall South Marston

A talk by Bill Giles. The club welcomes villagers over the age of 50 who live in South Marston to come along to the Village Hall and enjoy various speakers of interest. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after, giving members a chance to meet and chat together.

Friendly Club – Gloucester Quays Trip

A day trip with Barnes Coaches to Gloucester Quays to explore the historic dockyard buildings, waterways and designer shops. Non-members welcome, subject to availability.

The Friendly Club ‘The Accordion’ talk

Village Hall South Marston

A talk and entertainment by Heather Bishop. The discovery and playing in an orchestra. Followed by a raffle with tea and biscuits.

The Friendly Club ‘Athelhampton House – Day Trip’

A fine Tudor house & gardens in Dorset with a connection to Thomas Hardy. Our day trips with Barnes Coaches are open to non-members who are invited to join us, subject to availability.
