Caring for Houseplants
Kate used to be head of languages at a secondary school and was looking for a new challenge during the pandemic. She started to develop a love of plants and the desire to make her own home a more appealing place to live and work.
It was this passion that prompted her to develop her brand and study the principles of horticulture with the RHS. The business took off and, having left the education sector in 2021, she now has a shop in Cirencester, ‘Fern & Ivy’, with 2 members of staff.
They install plants in people’s homes and businesses, as well as running workshops.
£3 entry fee on the door or join the Gardening Club for £12 (annual membership).
Refreshments included – Optional raffle – A warm, friendly welcome awaits you.
Parking available at Old Vicarage Lane, next to the school.
