There are 2 defibrillator units in the village, one situated at the Village Hall and the other at the Carriers Arms.
They are checked on a regular basis by a team of volunteers and if any faults are found these are either rectified locally or reported directly to South Western Ambulance Service Trust.
Please note that there is a correct way to open the cabinet using the red button, which should be depressed firmly with an open hand contacting the button with the lower part of the palm.
A small group of volunteers spend a few hours a month collecting litter from around our village. The collection days are family orientated with all equipment provided.
