Defibrillators
There are 2 defibrillator units in the village, one situated at the Village Hall and the other at the Carriers Arms. They are checked on a regular basis by a team of volunteers and if any faults are found these are either rectified locally or reported directly to South Western Ambulance Service Trust. Please note that there is a correct way to open the cabinet using the red button, which should be depressed firmly with an open hand contacting the button with the lower part of the palm.
Litter Picking
A small group of volunteers spend a few hours a month collecting litter from around our village. The collection days are family orientated with all equipment provided.
