Let’s Light Up the Village!
With each year that passes the South Marston in Lights Event continues to gain popularity in the village.
It’s also a fantastic opportunity to walk around the village and see those that have chosen to embrace the festive magic. Last year’s main winner pictured.
Though SMILE isn’t even about winning or taking part, but about getting out to enjoy the magical twinkling festive displays of light that are put on by people who love to light up the dark evenings.
Judging will start from Monday 16th of December and finish around Christmas, weather permitting! Our judges are completely independent, and they will choose the top 3 or 4 displays for which each will be awarded a goodie bag of prizes, supported by the F and E Harris Memorial Trust.
This year there are no set categories, so just get creative and more importantly, have some fun!
