Gardening Club Annual Show - Plants and Flowers

Join us for one of the most colourful and creative days of the year! The Annual Flower and Produce Show is back with 72 fun and varied classes to enter. Whether you’re a seasoned grower, a star baker, a crafty creator or just up for a bit of friendly competition, there’s something for everyone.

Categories Include:

  • Vegetables & fruit
  • Flowers & pot plants
  • Hanging baskets, tubs & pots
  • Flower arranging
  • Crafts
  • Baking & preserves
  • Homebrew (including new non-alcoholic classes!)Gardening Club Annual Show Produce
  • Photography – themes: ‘autumn’ and ‘playful pets’.
    Please note: photos must be printed on photographic paper and size limit of 7″ x 5″ (17.78cm x 12.7cm)

Craft Section:

  • Metal, wood, glass or ceramic items
  • Knitting or crochet
  • Cross-Stitch or embroidery
  • Artwork (acrylic, charcoal, watercolour, etc.)
  • Fabric or material-based crafts
  • Papercraft (decoupage, quilling, stencilling, etc.)

New for 2025!

  • Baking: decorated cake – Let your creativity shine!
  • Crafts: Small upcycled item – Celebrate creativity and sustainability

Children’s Section (Ages 0–16): choose from the following fun activities: Ages 5 and under | 6 – 8 years | 9 – 11 years | 12 – 16 years

  • Decorated stone
  • Flowers in a jam jar
  • A piece of artwork

Whether you grow, bake, brew or create – come and share your talents at this year’s Annual Flower & Produce Show. We can’t wait to see what you bring!

Entry Registration: Friday 15th of August, 6pm – 7.30pm. Bring your entry form and fee to South Marston Village Hall, Old Vicarage Lane, SN3 4SN (exhibits to be brought in on Saturday morning).

Open to All! We welcome entries from anyone in South Marston and the surrounding areas – so invite your neighbours, friends, and family to take part and enjoy the day.

Show Timings – Saturday 16 August

  • 10am to 12 noon – Staging of exhibits
  • 1pm to 4pm – Judging takes place (Hall to be cleared except for stewards)
  • 5pm – Doors open to the public – Free admission, refreshments available
  • 5.15pm – Giving of prize money
  • 5.30pm – Presentation of show winners
  • 5.45pm – Donations of produce (the committee will be grateful for any exhibit left for sale)
