As the festive season approaches, get ready for the annual
‘South Marston in Lights’ event, where residents decorate their homes with festive displays.
Independent judges will tour the village before Christmas to choose the top four or five displays, with one crowned Best Display in the Village. Those on quieter streets are asked to let Hazel know that you’re taking part to ensure your displays are seen. Prizes are kindly funded by the F & E Harris Memorial Trust.
After five years of organising the event, Hazel will be stepping down and is looking for someone new to take over. Anyone interested can contact her at andrewshazel@yahoo.com.
