Seed Swap
Saturday 26 March 2022
10am to 12 noon
At South Marston Village Hall
South Marston Gardening Club is holding its first ever Seed Swap and wants to encourage as many people as possible to grow vegetables and flowers. Everyone has to start somewhere and we want to get everyone growing – whether you have a window box, a small front garden or are on the waiting list for an allotment.
South Marston Gardening Club members have been busy saving seeds from their gardens and allotments. We’ve also had seeds donated from Studly Grange Swindon, Thompson & Morgan, Mr Fothergills and Blacklands Organics Oxford.
How does a Seed Swap work and what do I need to bring?
SEEDS: If you have them, in small packets clearly labelled to add to the “Seed Table” and take what seeds you need. If you have no seeds to swap – just leave a donation.
CASH: for donations and refreshments.
Tell your friends, neighbours and family about the Seed Swap!
We will be serving homemade cakes, tea and coffee and all profits from the day will be donated to DEC for Ukraine.
Come along and speak to Gardening Club members for advice on growing and sowing.
