The ’12 Days of Christmas’ themed illuminated walk at St Julian’s Wood was a resounding success and a lovely way for Lionel Cave-Ayland to step down from his years of volunteering for Community events in the village.
Once again, our residents put on a great array of light displays around the village for the annual South Marston in Lights event (SMILE), making the judge’s decisions very tricky.
Our Parish Councillor’s latest visit to the Panattoni site saw some great efforts in recycling materials from the demolition ahead of the reconstruction phase amongst the mud.
The mud theme continues with the maintenance and clearing at the Recreation Ground. Tree planting is planned for Orchard Meadow and the Allotment site, with help being sought for a planting event at the Rec.
