The first draft of Local Plan documents covering 2026-2043 was published in September 2025. This will guide all future development within Swindon Borough.
The Parish Council has engaged in detailed negotiation with Swindon Borough’s Local Plan Officers since earlier in the year.
The Regulation 18 consultation on the draft suite of documents was the first formal opportunity to influence the future. There will be other opportunities for public engagement prior to adoption by Swindon Borough Council.
