Join us for an inspiring evening as Timothy Walker explores how to make the most of your garden during the colder months. Discover plants that provide colour, flowers and structure throughout winter, along with those that produce berries and seeds to support birds and wildlife. Winter may not bring the vibrant displays of summer, but it has its own unique beauty and Timothy will show you how to create a garden that remains full of interest all year round.
Timothy is one of Britain’s most respected botanists and horticulturalists. After studying Botany at the University College Oxford, he trained at the University of Oxford Botanic Garden, Askham Bryan College, the Savill Garden and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew before being awarded a Master of Horticulture by the Royal Horticultural Society.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just looking for ideas to brighten your garden through the winter months, this promises to be an enjoyable and informative evening. Everyone is very welcome.
£5 entry fee on the door or join the Gardening Club for £15 (annual membership). Refreshments included – Optional raffle – A warm, friendly welcome awaits you. Parking available at Old Vicarage Lane, next to the school.
