The latest litter pick by our volunteers along Thornhill Road and Highworth Road resulted in 22 bin bags being filled, along with the discovery of several large white bags that had been dumped and some car bumper parts!
A heavy blue bag in the lay by at Hoddinotts was also found and looked to be full of soil, with a wooden pallet and some further waste nearby.
A very big well done and thank you to the team of volunteers, what a sad amount of waste littering our local area. If you find any Fly Tipping in and around the village, please report it to our Parish Clerk.
Our volunteers will be out again this week litter picking on Old Vicarage Lane, where they hope not to find any similar dumped surprises near the bridges.
