Reasons given include the impact on the anti-coalescence area between South Marston and the new village of Rowborough together with the impact on pedestrian use of Nightingale Lane. Both reasons relate to policies the village secured some years ago in the Swindon Local Plan and our Neighbourhood Plan. Though the planning decision is subject to appeal.
