Highworth Road in South Marston (Northerly from Old Vicarage Road to Supermarine Road) will be temporarily closed from Monday 13th of February 2023 until Friday 3rd of March 2023.
The closure will be required to allow for Thames Water, Openreach and Scottish and Southern Electric (SSE) to carry out works.
We have been able to combine these works to avoid their being conducted over 3 separate road closures and ensure that the closure starts at the School half term holiday, thereby minimising the disruption as much as possible.
The road will be closed to allow for the following works:
- SSE access to install new electricity cable
- Thames Water to carry out sewer repairs and reduce risk of flooding
- Openreach access to telegraph poles to provide fibre cabling
