A 2-day road closure for tree felling is planned for Monday 2nd of June and Tuesday 3rd of June from 9.30am to 3.30pm, on Old Vicarage Lane.
The tree removal is required to allow construction of the Old Vicarage Lane junction with the new road through the housing development parcels.
Following this 2 day closure, Traffic Management will switch to 1 lane closure from Wednesday 4th of June – Friday 6th of June, so Breheny can undertake hedge removal and vegetation clearance required ahead of the OVL junction construction.
The Parish Council asked the developers to explain how this would affect the ban on construction traffic going around Pound Corner, and the letter distributed to residents now notes that traffic will be managed on the closed section to overcome this during the closure period.
